I read a blog recently...(5 minutes ago actually...) and it renewed my desire to guard carefully what I watch/read and what my children watch and read...Here it is. Let me know what you think of it!
I do beleive that it is highly important what we choose as entertainment when we take the name of Christ as our own and call ourselves Christians. If a Christian wants to follow Christ in any way and be something other than a whitewashed tomb, full of dead mens bones, we must clean up the entertainment we choose first and foremost (because the eye is the window to the soul). If we do not, there is NO WAY we will ever be able to clean up the inside in any way. The music we listen to, we sing along with. The Word says that there is the power of life and death in our tongues, so even if we are singing it absentmindedly, we are still saying it. The entertainment we watch goes into our souls and either uplifts or corrupts, there is nothing neutral.

Never even thought of words we take so lightly...the ones used as an expression... We do need to guard better for sure. Thank you for sharing it.
